Our teacher has 20 years’ experience and is ready to enthuse and engage you in applying psychological theories to everyday life. The course covers an array of topics; from exploring how memory works to the origin of mental disorders. We question how obedient we are and the extent that early attachment bonds shape the rest of our lives. You also become experts in a variety of research methods, enabling you to design and assess your own research.
Our general entry requirements are that you need 5 Grade 6s in your GCSEs to study A Levels. A GCSE grade of 6 or above in Maths is also required to study this course.
During Year 12 you will explore primate behaviour and carry out an observational study at Twycross Zoo. You will also design, conduct and analyse your own investigation into a topic of your choice.
