
BTEC Law is an engaging and thought-provoking subject that introduces students to the English legal system, the role of law in society, and how justice is achieved. Students will explore key areas such as criminal law, civil law, and family law developing skills in analysis, evaluation, logical reasoning, and effective communication. The course encourages critical thinking about current legal issues and real-world cases, helping students understand how the law shapes everyday life. Students will be assessed through internally set coursework that is externally marked. BTEC Law provides an excellent foundation for a wide range of university degrees and careers, including those in policing, the civil service, business, journalism, criminology, social policy, and legal support roles such as paralegal or legal executive work.
