Course summary

What is Art, Craft & Design A level and why study it? A Level Art, Craft & Design develops creativity, imagination, and independent thinking. Students build strong analytical, practical, technical, and expressive skills while forming personal artistic style and confidence. You will explore a wide range of materials, media, and processes, take creative risks, and refine ideas through experimentation. We treat our A Level students as emerging artists. You’ll exhibit work, receive feedback, and learn how to present and curate your own pieces. Visits to galleries and creative spaces provide real-world insight into artistic practice and the wider creative industry.
