
This course is designed for students who are passionate about acting, dance, or musical theatre and want to develop their practical performance skills alongside theoretical understanding. It’s ideal for creative individuals who enjoy collaborative work and aspire to careers in the performing arts or related industries.
A minimum of four GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including English or Maths. An interest in performing arts and a willingness to participate in practical workshops and performances. Previous experience in drama, dance, or music is helpful but not essential.
Assessment is through: Practical performance pieces (solo and group). Written assignments reflecting on process and performance. Externally assessed units set by Edexcel, including live performance tasks.
