Enterprise and Entrepreneurs Consisting of 5 units, An enterprise and entrepreneurship course, while encompassing broader business concepts, is fundamentally anchored by finance. It explores the entire business lifecycle through a financial lens, covering how entrepreneurs turn an idea into a profitable reality. This involves mastering crucial financial elements, from securing initial startup capital to the day-to-day management of cash flow, and ultimately, ensuring long-term financial viability and growth. Enterprise and Entrepreneurs Enterprise is important because it is the creation of new ventures that drive the economy, employment, growth and innovation across the UK. Entrepreneurs are those who take that first brave step, identify an opportunity and start their own enterprise. Developing a Marketing Campaign Marketing is a dynamic field central to the success of any business. You will gain an understanding of how a marketing campaign is developed. Personal and Business Finance This unit includes aspects of both personal and business finance. Personal finance involves the understanding of why money is important and how managing your money can help prevent future financial difficulties. Social Enterprise Social enterprise is any organisation that has primarily social objectives or a social moral purpose, for example tackling social problems, improving communities and people’s life chances, or the environment. Entrepreneurship and Intrapreneurship in Practice Bringing new and unique products and services to the market requires people who have a clear understanding of the target market, coupled with the drive and ambition to take calculated risks in order to secure financial gains.
