This course is for those students seeking to understand how the natural world affects humans, as well as those with a natural curiosity to understand how humans govern and manage the planet. To do this, students will investigate both Human and Physical Geography, with an additional Non-Examination Assessment. The course helps to create an investigative approach in students and is highly relevant to the geographical changes in the world. Through the Geography A level course, students are encouraged to use new technologies and media to further understand the world around them. The NEA gives students an opportunity to investigate an area of the course they are specifically interested in upon which to complete an independent research task. Our A level students will take part in a residential experience, to give them an opportunity to apply concepts to real world examples – spending one week at a Field Studies Centre.
