Students will be able to work safely and proficiently to produce high quality prototypes. Students will learn to take risks, showing innovation and enterprise, developing an intellectual curiosity about design and its impact on daily life and the world. A fundamental part of this course is learning the importance of working collaboratively to develop and refine ideas, responding to feedback from users, peers and expert practitioners. Students will be able to understand and create projects from conception to completion, using a range of skills and knowledge from other subject areas, including mathematics and science, to inform decisions in design and the application and development of technology.
