Course summary

A Level Geography consists of four main topics. These are: water and carbon cycles, landscape systems, global systems & global governance, and changing places. In water and carbon cycles, you will study the physical processes which control the cycling of both water and carbon between land, oceans, and the atmosphere. In landscape systems, you will take part in an integrated study of earth surface processes, landforms and resultant landscapes. For global systems & global governance, you will study the greater connectivity between people, places, and environments across the globe. In the Changing Places module, you will further develop your geographical knowledge by conducting research in an area that is local to you.
