Course summary

The Maidstone Rugby Club & Cornwallis Academy Rugby Academy is an exciting new two-year programme launching in September 2026 for students currently in Years 11 and 12. Delivered through a partnership between Maidstone Rugby Club and Cornwallis Academy, the academy is designed to provide ambitious young rugby players with the opportunity to combine high-quality education alongside elite rugby development. The programme aims to develop students both academically and athletically through professional coaching, competitive fixtures, strength and conditioning support, and leadership opportunities within rugby. Students will study their chosen post-16 qualifications at Cornwallis Academy whilst participating in a structured rugby performance environment that supports progression into senior rugby, university sport, coaching, or careers within the sports industry.
