A Level Dance

Course summary

The A Level Dance specification requires students to develop, demonstrate and articulate practical and theoretical knowledge, understanding and experience in many areas. During the course you will develop your technical and performance skills, studying the process and art of choreography and the interrelationship between the creation, presentation and viewing/appreciation of dance works. You will learn how to develop dance placed within an artistic and cultural context. You will study and analyse professional dance works and learn about the significance of these works whilst developing your use of subject specific terminology.
