Tours are open to parents, carers and students looking to join us in Year 10 and Year 12 in September onwards.

We welcome prospective Sixth Form pupils and their parents to our annual Open Evening, which will take place on Wednesday, 10th December 2025. Guests will hear from the Sixth Form Team, tour the school and meet staff and prefects in subject areas.

• Date: Wednesday 10th December
• Time: 4pm – 7pm (Please select the right ticket option for the time you want to come)
• Location: West Studios, Chesterfield College, Sheffield Road, S41 7LL
• Parking: There is limited parking at West Studios. More parking is available onsite at Infirmary Road in our Staff and Student car park. Alternative parking is available at the Holywell Cross (Donut) Car Park.

The evening will be dedicated to your child’s preparations for the Key Stage 5 curriculum here at the Academy.  Information about individual qualifications, subjects and guidance will all be available throughout the evening. 

The evening’s first presentations will commence at 4:30pm, in the Exam Hall. You will then have the opportunity to speak to subject teachers across various venues across the academy. There will then be a second presentation at 5:30pm in the Exam Hall for those unable to attend from 4:30pm. Subject stands and teachers will be available until 7pm

Sixth Form Open Evening

Join us for our Sixth Form Open Evening and discover the courses, opportunities, and support that will shape your future success.

The evening will focus on all the pathways we offer the Academic, the CACT Football Education Academy and OCR Sport (equivalent to 3 A Levels).
