Event for prospective Sixth Form students: Talk and Tour of St Michael's Catholic Grammar SchoolThis event is intended for students who have made an application. It is not an Open Day event If you would like to attend but have not yet applied, please make an application before registering to attend this eventStudents will hear talks from Mr Stimpson, Headteacher; Mr Hinnem, Senior Deputy Headteacher: Director of Sixth Form and Mrs Heron, Deputy Headteacher before taking a tour of the school. This event is intended for prospective students only (who can be accompanied by parents if they wish) to have an opportunity to ask questions about A Level studies and life in the Sixth Form. There will be an opportunity to take a tour of the school when you can discuss the student experience with current sixth form students.We look forward to welcoming you to St Michael's Catholic Grammar School.

Applications submitted by 31 January 2026 will be invited to a Guidance Meeting to discuss your A Level study Programme choices.Applications will be accepted after 31 January 2026. However, it will not be possible to offer a Guidance Meeting and later applicants will be subject to our oversubscription criteria.

For current Year 11 students onlyWe’re inviting creative, practical Year 11 students to take part in a series of free upholstery taster sessions, designed to give learners a real feel for our Craft & Design Upholstery course starting September 2026.Each session is hands-on and led by our specialist tutors, giving learners the chance to design, make, and take home a finished product.Our first event will be to make a Fabric Notice Board.We only have 10 spaces available, so please only book if you can attend the event.
