Unsure what route to take? Our friendly School Liaison Team are at every Open Evening and are the perfect people to talk to if you’re not sure which pathway is for you.

They are experts in helping you identify whether A Levels, Vocational, T Levels or an Apprenticeship is the route which suits you best.

Support is on hand to help you register for our amazing BC Programmes where you can get a taste of what your future subject will be like. It’s a way of getting an early taste of college life, you can apply for as many programmes as you like and make your final choices later.

We recommend allowing at least an hour for your visit.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are under 16, you MUST be accompanied by an adult to attend our Open Evening.

This #H6Experience will give you the opportunity to meet our inspiring tutors, tour the College and discover courses and careers.

Our open events are available to everybody and are particularly for those students looking to start their sixth form studies in September 2026.

We have a wide range of A-level, Entry Level, Vocational and T-Level courses to choose from. We also have Learning For Life (SEND) courses.

The Open Evening will include:

• Presentation from our Principal and Deputy Principal
• College tour
• Opportunities to talk to teachers and current students.

Our Open Event is the first step to finding the perfect apprenticeship, college or university course for you. You can hear from our tutors, view our incredible facilities and get your first taste of the career goals we can help you reach.

You’ll be able to ask our expert teams any questions you may have to make sure you find out everything you need to know about #thecareercollege. 

This event covers the following study options at Cornwall College St Austell:

• Further education
• Apprenticeships
• Access to higher education
• Adult 
• University-level programmes 

Please only book a ticket for the person looking to studying at Cornwall College St Austell.
You can bring along as many guests as you would like, they don’t require a ticket.

Starting at 5:00pm, our program includes:
* An Introduction from our Head of School and Head of Sixth Form
* Tours of our facilities including our work shops
* Meetings and demonstrations with our Subject Teachers
* A chance to speak with our current students about what day to day life is like at the UTC.
* A chance to speak with previous students, and employer partners, on how the UTC helped them secure their dream apprenticeship.
