Welcome to La Retraite Roman Catholic Girls' School

At the La Retraite 6 we believe that one size does not fit all - each student has a range of different aspirations and abilities. Our inclusive admissions process, diverse academic pathways and comprehensive extra-curricular offer will support you to pursue a path tailored to you.

We are proud of our broad curriculum which will enable you to explore your academic passions. This is complemented by an extensive enrichment programme, an outstanding careers provision and a Scholarship Programme that offers access to an array of inspiring opportunities. These offers will enable you to develop an impressive portfolio of skills and knowledge, while learning from experiences along the way to ensure success in a competitive world.

As Winston Churchill said, ‘with opportunity comes responsibility.’ You will be challenged to take control, make life-defining decisions and grow as an individual. Personal support is always on hand and our small class sizes, strong and inclusive community, and network of experienced and dedicated staff will provide you with every possibility to make a success of your studies.

A long history of success characterises our Sixth Form and we are incredibly proud of our reputation for placing students at prestigious organisations, renowned universities and impressive apprenticeships across the country. We strive to make you stand out among the crowd, to join our lasting legacy of tenacious, successful and influential alumni.

We would be delighted to welcome you to our dynamic Sixth Form and support you in navigating the next stage of your studies as you pursue your goals.

Matt Dutton, Director of La Retraite 6
