Welcome to Laurel Park Sixth Form

A warm welcome to Laurel Park School Sixth Form, a specialist vocational sixth form that focuses on hands on learning, preparing our young people for university, apprenticeships or the world of work.

Laurel Park School offers a sixth form with a difference; vocational qualifications for the young people of Enfield and beyond.

Why have we made this choice? Simply because there is a need for it in the borough.  Vocational education is key to the UK and global economy and central to the overall job market.  It also provides young people with the opportunity to complete study with a higher proportion of coursework and practical hands on work, which allows them to get a true insight into the area of their choice.

Traditional sixth forms usually offer a range of A Levels but limited vocational options.  Therefore, a number of students have to choose college for their courses.  For some students, going to a very big college can be overwhelming and a source of anxiety.

Laurel Park School provides the chance to study courses that would be available at college, but in the safety of a school environment with the level of support that is found in secondary school, meaning that students are well looked after and thrive.
