Welcome to Meadow High School

Welcome to Meadow High School I am immensely proud and excited to be Headteacher of Meadow High School, an 11 – 19 Secondary Special School. Meadow High has amazing students, an experienced and dedicated staff and exceptional facilities. As Headteacher, I will always place the students at the heart of the decisions we make as they only have one chance to receive a world-class education. We are a values-driven, inclusive school and these values permeate every aspect of school life both in and outside of the classroom. Our job as educators is to ensure students leave Meadow High School with relevant qualifications, skills and qualities that will give them control and choice over their futures and enable them to contribute to the communities they will be part of. Our motto ‘Life beyond Meadow’ shows our commitment to this objective. To achieve this, Meadow offers students two distinctive pathways through the school, by streaming our students according to their cognitive profile. All of our students have an EHCP, and they are admitted from Year 7 with all consultations being through the London Borough of Hillingdon. By truly understanding our students as individuals, we enable them to discover, develop and share their talents with us through an appropriate curriculum and personal development programme. Now is an exciting period in the history of Meadow High School as we improve our facilities with a new site opening at Northwood Road in Harefield from September 2026. I look forward to working in partnership with the students, staff and their families to ensure everyone succeeds during their time at Meadow High School. Graham Cunningham,Headteacher
