Welcome to St Thomas More Catholic School, Willenhall

I am incredibly proud to be the Headteacher of St Thomas More Catholic School. It is an exciting, vibrant and supportive community, blessed with wonderful young people, with whom it is a privilege to work. For me, every day is both an adventure and an opportunity to explore the wider world, and that is how we want to inspire our pupils to feel.Since 1974, the school has earned a region-wide reputation for academic rigour, breathtaking music, art and drama, exciting sport and, most importantly, the development of socially responsible, highly creative young men and women whose approach to life and others is underpinned by Gospel values. We are delighted to welcome children of all faiths and denominations and benefit immensely from a diverse, multi-cultural community. We are avowedly Catholic in our approach and expect all children to participate in our celebrations of God’s work.We want the next generation not only to be equipped with outstanding academic and vocational qualifications but to share values which are underpinned by a common bond of respect for others and the world around them, endeavour and joyfulness. That is why we place a love of God at the heart of all we do.Please find out more about St Thomas More Catholic School on this website and be assured that every child in our care will always be known, loved, and encouraged to develop as a caring, confident, young person who is ready to change the world for the better.Mrs S Bowen, Headteacher

Enrichment Activities

We are delighted to be able to inform you about our enrichment programme for Sixth Form students. A timetable of sessions for Year 12 students has been put together to support students’ academic progress and attainment. The programme we are providing aims to give students opportunities to learn and explore beyond the classroom, developing new friendships across the year group. This will also provide students with essential life skills ready for when they leave post 16 education. All sessions will take place during lesson 5 on Thursdays. We are sure students will enjoy the varied options we have on offer.
