Welcome to Lawnswood School

Lawnswood Sixth Form continues to foster a learning platform for students to excel and enter higher education or alternative post 18 pathways. The Sixth Form at Lawnswood school continues to grow and offers the widest possible curriculum to meet the needs of our learners. Academically, we strive to achieve excellent results for the individuals who choose to learn with us. Additionally, we provide an exceptional wider study programme, unique to Lawnswood School Sixth Form, which enables students to develop skills, knowledge and additional qualifications that will equip them for their post 18 studies or in to the world of work. Student welfare is at the heart of our Sixth Form and we have a fantastic Sixth Form Team that will offer support and guidance whilst students study with us.In addition to Year 11 students who choose to continue their education at Lawnswood, we are joined by many external students each year and welcome students from Ralph Thoresby School who join us in shared partnership lessons. We firmly believe in creating an inclusive and integrated community and our sixth form students are given the opportunities and build on their existing skills to enable them to progress to whatever pathway they choose post 18.
