Welcome to St John Fisher Catholic High School
The heart of the St John Fisher Sixth Form is rooted in three key values, we want all of our Sixth Form students to be respectful, take responsibility for themselves and be resilient in the challenges that they may face. As a Catholic school we aim to develop each of our student’s unique stengths in an environment where they are able to flourish not only academically but also socially, morally and spiritually. Although a small Sixth Form, we pride ourselves on offering a supportive environment, where each student is known to the Sixth Form team, their form tutor, teachers and the school community. As a part of this support, we aim to develop the whole student and prepare themf or life after the Sixth Form, whether that be employment, an appreniceship or University. Sixth Form life offers students many new experiences and opportunities. We will support each individual throughout their development of excellent learning habits and becoming a truly independent learner in preparation for the future. It is for this reason that each student will have their own personlised programme for study based on the subjects they wish to study, their needs, aspirations and interests. In addition, our school works in partnership with The King’s School and is therefore able to offer a wider selection of courses for study at A Level. I look forward to welcoming you to the St John Fisher Sixth Form. Mrs Reay Head of Sixth Form
