Welcome to Upton-by-Chester High School

Welcome to Upton by Chester High 6th Form, where we continue to support our learners in their strive for academic excellence, and develop their intellectual curiosity that allows our learners to go onto their chosen next steps destination. We welcome learners into our 6th Form from both our own Year 11 cohort, but also learners who have not previously studied with us.We are immensely proud of our 6th Form, from our academic results through to our broad range of experiences on offer for our learners within 6th Form. We are aware that 6th Form is much more than solely being around academic progress, and our learners are encouraged to develop their own creativity, self- discipline, team work and leadership skills. Our learners are taught by specialists who have a passion for their subject and are experts in the delivery of their respective course. We are proud that the vast majority of our learners leave us to take their next steps at their preferred Post-18 destination; whether this be university, on an apprenticeship, or obtaining full time employment. However, they do so as confident, independent and well rounded individuals, fully prepared to lead their life as young adults.
