Greenside School

Welcome to Greenside School. We are a school for children with severe learning difficulties. The specific needs of each young person is at the heart of everything we do. We have a highly personalised approach, which we call My Curriculum. The 4 aspects are: My Body, My Communication, My Thinking and My Wellbeing. We empower learners to express themselves, to have a sense of fun, curiosity, adventure, achievement and to form safe, fulfilling relationships.

We are co-located with Barnwell Middle School which enables exceptional opportunities for inclusive learning and new friendships. Some of our specialist teaching provision is based in the heart of our community at The Hyde shopping centre, enabling our learners to develop resilience, confidence, self-esteem, vocational skills and independence.
