Riverside Special School

Welcome to Riverside School.

On behalf of the pupils, staff and governors of Riverside School I would like to welcome you to our website. We are a special school on the edge of Goole and Hook  for pupils aged 2-19  with Severe Learning Difficulties and Profound and Multiple Learning needs near the beautiful river Ouse. In 2020 we completed our expansion and now have a beautiful purpose built building with hydrotherapy pool, sensory rooms, Science lab and fantastic outside spaces and gardens. We strongly believe that pupils should be excited about the day ahead and experience a sense of achievement in their time at school. Our curriculum is highly personalised towards pupil's needs and has a significant emphasis on understanding  and developing a love of the outdoor environment.
