Welcome to Sidestrand Hall School

Sidestrand Hall Sixth Form is a local authority Sixth Form located on the outskirts of Cromer, serving students aged 16 to 19 with complex needs. Students have statements of special educational needs. Their needs include moderate learning difficulties; behavioural, emotional and social difficulties; autistic spectrum disorder; and speech, language and communication difficulties.Sidestrand Hall Sixth Form is part of Sidestrand Hall School which caters for young people from KS2 – KS4. The school was awarded a grant to build a 40-place post-16 provision, which opened in 2017. Students can access all of the facilities within the school and they also access local community amenities such as a gym, swimming and leisure pool and the school’s charity shop in Cromer. The school has residential provision on site (term time only) and there is capacity for some sixth form students to use this to help them prepare for adult life.

Charity Events
Students are encouraged to support others in need, whether at Sixth Form, School, locally, UK-wide or abroad.
Independent Travel Training
Students will also have the opportunity to develop independence handling their own money and making their own choices, when visiting cafes.
Work Experience
Students will be on work experince at NNDC Muddy Boots Volunteer group. Working alongside the rangers and public to help manage and conserve local beauty spots. Students will also have an opportunity to go to Strands Charity shop to experience a retail work environment.
