I would like to welcome you to our website and thank you for your interest in Joseph Chamberlain College. Situated just ten minutes from Birmingham City Centre, we’re a highly successful Sixth Form with a national reputation for excellence. We offer a wide range of A-Level and BTEC courses for school leavers in our award-winning main building. Our variety of Adult Learning and Higher Education programmes are based on a separate campus.
As the only Sixth Form College in Birmingham and Solihull rated ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED, student achievement is among the highest in England. This is because our teachers are all highly skilled professionals and experts in their fields; therefore, their focus is firmly on making sure that all of our students achieve exceptional examination and vocational results.
We’re a highly inclusive and vibrant college, proud of the diversity that exists among our staff and students. Visitors to College often comment on the friendly, welcoming and positive atmosphere they experience here. I believe that this comes from our strong sense of community, characterised by warm and respectful relationships between staff and students. Joseph Chamberlain College is a place where you will be expected to work hard but where you will also be given plenty of opportunities to develop new skills, make new friends and get involved in a range of extra-curricular activities.
If you join us as a school leaver, we’ll offer an outstanding sixth form experience, helping you to successfully make the transition to higher education or employment. We do this by treating students as adults, working with them to take ownership of their learning and plan their future. If you’re joining as an adult learner, we’ll support and guide you to reach your future goals.
