Welcome to The Sheffield College

The Sheffield Sixth Form sits within the heart of The Sheffield College's City Campus. Putting students first in everything that we do, we have created a dedicated learning space for students wishing to study A Levels in Sheffield city centre.

A Levels are level 3 qualifications that are studied across two years. If you're thinking about going to university, most higher education courses require specific A Levels or combinations of A Levels (or alternative level 3 qualifications).

At the Sixth Form we have 19 A Level courses to choose from; these are grouped into a series of A Level pathways to help you choose the best subject combinations for your career and next steps, whether that leads to university, further study, training or work. The pathways are all underpinned by an employability focus, with particular university or career destinations in mind..

All of our students are supported by our expert staff to succeed in their ambitions on their course, whether that is progression to university or straight into employment.
