Welcome to The Bournemouth and Poole College

We have a thriving College community that gives you the opportunity to get involved! As well as joining our Students' Union and enjoying the many benefits it offers, you can also get involved in the running of events and activities!Ultimately, we’re here for our students, which is why we’re constantly investing in new facilities across our College sites. There’s plenty of opportunity to get some ‘me’ time with a meal at an award-winning restaurant, a haircut or beauty treatment, or a quick coffee. If sport's your thing, we offer some amazing equipment in our fitness centres – The FIT Rooms and Arbitrium CrossFit at our Lansdowne site.Ever thought about representing your fellow students? Find out more about how you can represent the Student Voice at The College. If you think life at the College might be for you, the best way to get a taste for it is by experiencing it first-hand! We have regularly scheduled open events to give you the opportunity to explore our facilities, speak to the experienced tutors and look at your options for the future.

Work Experience for Students
While at college, you will get the opportunity to participate in work experience with an external employer. Work experience is part of the study programme for students in further education. While Work Experience is often an exciting part of the college course, securing a work experience placement and navigating the workplace can be challenging. That is why the college has a designated team of work experience coordinators to walk alongside you.
