Independent Travel Training
We collaborate with the Travel Support Team at Liverpool City Council. They offer travel training to young people up to the age of 19 who currently cannot get to school or college independently because of their special educational needs or disability. It is done through practical and classroom-based sessions with a trainer and each young person gains the skills needed to take that journey independently. To recognise the young people’s achievement, they will gain a Badge of Excellence Open Awards qualification.
