Welcome to Oaks Park High School

Every student who comes to Oaks Park can expect a warm welcome from the Sixth Form Team, the staff and the other students. The fantastic atmosphere and happy, supportive environment are two of the key factors that make this our school so well-loved by students and staff alike. We constantly strive to help the students develop into young adults who are well-adjusted, well-educated, and who are positive role models in the school and local community. We have an excellent Higher Education record, with the vast majority of our students going to university, many of them being top, Russell Group institutions. Last year some of our students went on to Oxford and Cambridge and we continue to promote an aspirational attitude in the students, helping them to get to wherever they want to get.We have good links with the Social Mobility Foundation, which aims to help those students from lower socio-economic backgrounds or from families where they will be the first in their family to go to university. We care about all our students, equally. We see them as individuals with different abilities and different needs and we treat them as such.In essence, it’s a wonderful place to be and we look forward to coming to work every day; we hope you join us soon, to experience this unique and very special atmosphere for yourselves.
