We are extremely proud to welcome you to our new Sixth Form provision, MA.16, based right at the heart of Merchants’ Academy.
With a truly exceptional team of experienced teaching and pastoral staff we are privileged to work with, and support, our community of students through their post-16 education.
We offer a diverse range of traditional academic subjects married alongside a wide variety of vocational courses for students aged 16-18. You are able to view our curriculum in the ‘Courses Offered’ section of the site.

Enrichment Activities
Show all activitiesThe Access to Bristol scheme is for students taking A-levels or equivalents. Taking part shows a commitment to further study that will strengthen your application when you apply to university. Academy Sixth Form students who complete this programme are entitled to a bursary if they decide to study at the University of Bristol.
This is a programme provided by South Bristol Youth across all years in the academy. The Year 12 academy programme provides students with several widening participation trips, some of these are focused around university choices and looking into all their future options.
