Welcome to Luminate Education Group

At Leeds Sixth Form College, we pride ourselves on our students’ journeys to success. We are driven by hard work and the strong belief that every student has the capacity to excel, regardless of their background. We offer a range of A level subjects as well as the opportunity to combine A levels with a vocational element. We are committed to providing an exceptional experience, with outcomes to match. We are proud to have received an Ofsted status of Good with Outstanding Features. However, at Leeds Sixth Form College we never rest on our laurels and work tirelessly to build on our successes. A levels give you the opportunity to develop a rich and varied knowledge of academic disciplines, gain well-recognised qualifications, enter the world of work at a higher level and progress to specialised degree courses. It’s not just about your studies. Our students’ wellbeing is paramount, which is why we have in place a comprehensive pastoral system that offers a wealth of additional support for students. This includes one-to-one support with our dedicated academic staff and wellbeing team. We will value you, believe in you and support you to realise your full potential with a dedicated academic climate for learning. We will work with you to help you secure the best post-16 qualifications you can achieve and enable you to enjoy a range of enrichment and leadership opportunities that will help you develop your wider skills.

Enrichment Activities

Show all activities
Enrichment activities fall into two categories: extra-curricular activities where you will take part in pursuits and interests in addition to your academic studies, and super-curricular activities that take your academic study to a higher level and demonstrate a real commitment to a subject. We run an extensive range of extra-curricular and super-curricular activities and you will take part in one of each type each term. These activities will not only help build your confidence and enrich your learning experience, they are also a positive addition to university and job applications.
