At Guilsborough Academy Sixth Form (GASF) we pride ourselves on providing a welcoming yet challenging learning environment that enables all students to aspire and succeed. Our students are encouraged to inspire others through their success, leading as role models and mentors as well as contributing to the wider community. 

We are incredibly proud of our students; they are at the heart of our Sixth Form and school, and essential to it being such a happy and supportive environment.

Cora Bancroft

September 2021

Apprenticeship

Cora Bancroft works three days a week as an engineer at Dyson whilst studying for her degree from The University of Warwick for the other two. Cora has returned every year since leaving to encourage and inspire more students to consider an apprenticeship.

Daisy Miller

September 2020

University

Daisy Miller was part of the Student Leadership Team in 2020-21 and ran our sporting events. She is now studying Sport and Exercise science (4years with placement) at Loughborough University.

Sophie O'Brien

September 2019

University

"The best bit about my course is the clarity; lectures are organised to run smoothly as well as clear organisation of the opportunities available to us in exciting areas such as research which helps shape the subject. My future plans are to become a Psychologist after completing Post-graduate training."
