East Barnet School

Sophia started East Barnet School in 2016 and so completed the full EBS journey from Year 7 to Year 13. Sophia's dream was always to study Geography at the University of Oxford, and we are so proud to say that her dream has come true!
East Barnet School helped Sophia to achieve her goals through a complete experience of dedicated teachers, effective feedback, high expectations and great facilities. Sophia immersed herself in school life and took advantage of all the extra-curricular and enrichment programmes that were presented, and went on to be one of our Head Students championing inclusion and diversity. We are so proud of everything that Sophia achieved!

Sam started his time at EBS as he finished it; with a strong work ethic, growth mindset, and an enthusiasm to get involved. From treading the boards in some of our biggest school productions to rubbing shoulders with Mayors to make a difference at Barnet Council, Sam took advantage of every opportunity that was presented to him at EBS. Sam enrolled at East Barnet School in 2017 and packed so much into his seven years here, not least nurturing his musical talent and performing solo several times for the local community. We are super proud to hear that Sam is currently a Choral Scholar at the Choir of Christ Church, Southgate and has taken a position of retail supervisor during his gap year, before heading to university next year. To top it all off, Sam has just received the highest EBS ecolade possible - the Governors' Award at our Awards Evening - a true EBS superstar!
