Our Sixth form is built around a set of core values:

• Our ethos of ‘All Different, All Equal, All Achieving.’ underpins everything we do here at Aston Manor Academy.
• Providing a stimulating environment in which students learn exceptionally well and develop life skills that prepare them for the future and help them to succeed in further education and thrive in the career of their choice.
• Blending tradition with innovation to provide A-levels and a wide range of BTEC Level 3 courses to allow all students to thrive and succeed.
• A successful sports academy in football and basketball, combining studies with daily training and representing the academy in competitive leagues in conjunction with the Aston Villa Foundation and Aston Basketball.
• Helping students grow into deeply considerate, responsible, compassionate and community-aware young people.
• Maintaining our grade as an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ sixth form and continuing to provide a curriculum that allows all students to achieve their personal best.

Our aim at our sixth form is to build on the outstanding achievements of Aston Manor Academy,  providing continuity of study for students and ensuring high student retention rates, excellent academic results and an excellent record of entry to universities. We have a proven track record of 100% of students going onto their preferred higher education course or apprenticeship programme.

As part of our enrichment, there are opportunities for students to liaise with local universities and apprenticeship providers. Key speakers are invited into school to share advice and guidance around applying for university. Sports clubs, work placements and residential trips also complement students’ sixth form experience.
