Welcome to Montsaye Academy

Montsaye Academy is an established school which offers a warm and welcoming start to your child’s secondary education. We are located in a vibrant local community in the market town of Rothwell.

Montsaye Academy, it is a fantastic school that provides students with a rich education, continual support, and a huge range of opportunities. Whether it be sports, the arts, sciences, or other areas of interest, our students flourish into independent, resilient, and courageous young people, who are proud of their education and are ambitious to reach their potential.

We understand that it is a family decision when choosing a secondary school, and a decision which is incredibly exciting; our prospectus will give you an insight into what we offer our students throughout their time with us, however we are confident that you will learn the most by coming to visit us. We hold an annual open evening, and welcome you to attend one of our school tours.

University

Since leaving Montsaye in 2014, I headed off to study Business Management and Marketing at Nottingham Trent University (NTU). During my degree I got to engage with large organisations across the country, working with other students consulting on improvements. I even got the opportunity to study in Toulouse, France for 3 weeks, which the university paid for. I graduated in 2017 with a 2:1. Following this, I then completed my Master’s degree in MSc Advertising & Branding, graduating with a Distinction. This was a great experience, as I got to work with students from around 50 different countries, again working on projects which helped myself and local organisations. Since then, I have been elected as the President of the Nottingham Trent Students’ Union. This is my role until June 2020, and in this I represent and enhance the university experience of around 32,000 students. This role allows me to meet Government officials and leaders of other industries, whilst driving change at the head of the Students’ Union, which turns over £5 million a year.”
