Welcome to Longdean School

Welcome to Longdean Sixth Form

We are proud of our sixth-form students and what they achieve through their hard work and dedication. They are active participants in our school community as well as being role models for our younger students. Our Sixth Form offers a wide range of subjects and the ability to combine academic and vocational qualifications. All learning is personalised to suit individual needs, and teaching is of the highest quality.

As well as supporting their academic achievement, we provide our sixth-formers with opportunities, through our PSHE and tutoring programmes, careers guidance and enrichment activities, to develop skills beyond the classroom that will benefit them later in life.

Enrichment Activities

Show all activities
In addition to supporting their academic achievement, at Longdean we offer our students a wide range of enrichment opportunities and extra-curricular activities. We believe this is an important way to help our students develop socially and emotionally, and to build positive relationships with staff and other students, so that they leave us as well-rounded individuals ready to take their place in the world.

Local Trips and Visits

We also enrich students’ learning and life experiences by organising educational visits to local sites of interest, such as St Albans, and trips abroad to countries including Iceland.

Making Music at Longdean
