Welcome to Queen Elizabeth's Girls' School

The ethos of QEGS Sixth Form is one of high expectations and achievement, so that all students reach their full potential in a supportive environment. In our Sixth Form, students flourish as confident, intelligent, resilient and ambitious young adults. Equal importance is placed on both academic achievement and personal development. As well as being the final stage of the school journey for QEGS Year 11 students, we offer the perfect setting for new students to join us in the Sixth Form.We ensure a smooth transition from Year 11 into the Sixth Form so that students become independent learners with highly effective study skills. Our Sixth Formers are an inspiration to the younger students and participate regularly in whole school events acting as ambassadors and role models. They are encouraged to make the most of the wide variety of leadership and co-curricular opportunities available to them. QEGS Sixth Form students achieve outstanding results. With expert support from teaching staff and the Sixth Form team, they are able to progress to their chosen universities, apprenticeships and careers. The Sixth Form benefits from being close to the amenities of High Barnet as well as excellent transport links via London Underground (Northern Line), New Barnet Railway Station and multiple bus routes that stop directly outside the school.
