Enrichment Activities

Show all activities
Hazelwick Sixth Form prides itself on the range of extra curricular activities that are available to students. Bringing together a sense of fun and social responsibility, the students raise money for a variety of charities. Festive Friday and the Charity Walk raise money for charities, such as St Catherine’s Hospice, Children in Need and the Poppy Appeal. Be ready to join in!

The House System

The House System at Hazelwick offers all students the opportunity to participate in a wide range of events and activities. All students belong to one of the six Houses, and House events and assemblies bring together students from across the age range of the school, offering chances for different year groups to work together in sporting, musical, charitable, artistic and social contexts. There are, amongst other things, House Events, a House charity, House assemblies, House Councils, a House Cup and House sports teams, which will all encourage students to engage with other year groups within the school and will add another layer to the impressive and tangible sense of community that we already enjoy here at Hazelwick. The House Cup is awarded at the end of each year to the House with the most House points. All students earn these points for a range of achievements including classwork and homework, sporting and musical achievements, high attendance and charity work. House Points can be seen on the homepage (scroll down the page) and this is updated monthly. Please note that on a mobile device you might have to scroll horizontally to move between the different Houses.
