Welcome to Ranelagh School

The Sixth Form at Ranelagh is an inclusive and inspirational place to study, both in terms of our curriculum and opportunities for personal growth. Our enthusiastic and experienced staff motivate, challenge and engage students in their fields of specialty, supporting them to achieve very good outcomes, whatever their starting point. Our ethos of excellence and inclusion mean that every Ranelagh Sixth Form student is ambitious in their aspirations for the future, whether they decide to go into employment, an apprenticeship or higher education. At Ranelagh, we emphasise the importance of wider learning, focusing on independence and culturing a true passion for subjects. The “Be the Change” initiative invites our Year 12 students to look at the world around them, challenging injustice and becoming global citizens and courageous advocates. Throughout their time in Ranelagh Sixth Form, students are offered a range of opportunities to build leadership skills, engage in enrichment activities and prepare for their exciting futures. The relationships that students build with peers and staff alike are pivotal and long-lasting. Our excellent pastoral system supports students at all levels, providing advice and encouragement for students when needed as well as celebrating their successes with them. We endeavour to make the learning experience in the Ranelagh Sixth Form community as invigorating, warm and ultimately fun as possible and look forward to welcoming you.Mrs. Charlotte MonaghanHead of Sixth Form
