HomeSchool Profile

Welcome to Cedars Upper School

We are a thriving Sixth Form, at the heart of the school community, with ‘Outstanding’ results. We have a range of excellent teachers and subject specialists within every department of our sixth form, which enables us to achieve outstanding results. This, alongside the pastoral support that is offered to all students, facilitates students to thrive and fulfil their ambitions - securing apprenticeships, university places or careers. We expect our sixth form students to act as role models in the school and, as such, we have high expectations for them. All students are expected to attend form time and lessons in a punctual manner. We encourage students to develop their study skills, understanding the importance of organisation, time management and prioritisation. Therefore, it is essential that all students utilise their study periods to complete homework and super curriculum work. There is a direct correlation between those that manage their workload in a positive and sustained way, with those who achieve great success.
