Enrichment Activities

Show all activities
At our school, the Sixth Form experience is not just about academic success; it's also about personal growth, making lasting memories, and giving back to the community. Our enrichment activities provide students with a wide range of experiences that help them develop important life skills, explore new interests, and support others.

Higher Education Conference & National Apprenticeship Show
In terms of careers, we provide valuable opportunities to explore future paths. Each year, students attend the Higher Education Conference, a fantastic event where they can gather information about university options, application processes, and future career opportunities. The National Apprenticeship Show also plays a pivotal role in exposing students to apprenticeship opportunities across various industries, helping them make informed decisions about their next steps after Sixth Form.
European Youth Parliament (EYPUK)
Each year, our Sixth Form students have the exciting opportunity to attend the European Youth Parliament (EYPUK), where they engage in dynamic debates with students from other schools across Europe. This event allows them to discuss pressing global issues, develop their public speaking and critical thinking skills, and collaborate with peers from diverse backgrounds. Representing our school, they not only gain valuable insight into international relations and politics but also enhance their ability to advocate for change on a global stage. The EYP experience is an invaluable opportunity for students to grow as young leaders and global citizens.
Exciting Trips and Experiences
Our Sixth Form students have the chance to go on a variety of enriching trips, each designed to broaden their horizons. One of the highlights of the year is the annual Alton Towers trip, a fun-filled day out that allows students to bond outside the classroom while enjoying the thrill of the theme park's rides. Additionally, Sixth Formers recently went to the Leeds University Open Day, where they got a taste of university life and discovered what higher education has to offer
