Cox Green has a strong Sixth Form that stands out for its supportive community, wide range of A-Level and BTEC courses, and a strong focus on preparing students for life after school. Ofsted rated the Sixth Form as good, highlighting the quality of teaching and student support, even though the whole school was graded lower. From my own experience, I’ve found that the teachers genuinely care about our progress and are always willing to give extra help when needed, which makes a huge difference during stressful times like exams. The enrichment opportunities and leadership roles, have also helped me grow in confidence and feel part of something bigger than just my studies. For me, the welcoming environment and strong pastoral care have made Sixth Form not only about achieving academically, but also about developing as a person.
