Welcome to Stratton School
Welcome to The Matt King Sixth Form at Stratton SchoolAt The Matt King Sixth Form, we are proud to offer a vibrant, ambitious, and supportive environment where achievement, aspiration, and excellence are at the core of everything we do.Our Sixth Form has been shaped by the dedication of both students and staff over time. It is a place where hard work is valued, success is celebrated, and every individual is encouraged to contribute positively to our community. Our students consistently achieve results above the national average across A Level, Academic, and Applied General pathways—reflecting the strong partnerships between students, staff, and families. We recognise the Sixth Form years as a pivotal stage in a young person’s life. It is both a privilege and a responsibility to guide our students through this journey. We set high expectations and encourage our learners to strive for personal and academic excellence, helping them grow into confident, capable, and well-rounded young adults. We understand that transitioning into Sixth Form can be challenging. That’s why we provide tailored support to help students meet the demands of advanced study. My time at Stratton and Stratton Sixth Form was such a positive and memorable experience. I personally found all members of staff always encouraged me to achieve my best, academically and personally. I am now especially proud of the progress I made in Stratton which led me to now be able to study Physiotherapy at my first choice university. I feel the skills and confidence I developed at the Matt King Sixth Form prepared me for this next chapter and I will always be grateful for the amazing team of staff that got me to this point. I believe Stratton is a place where students can really grow and succeed into whatever they wish to be.
