Welcome to Cobham Free School

Message from the Head of Sixth Form, Mrs JohnsonAt Cobham Free School Sixth Form, our vision is to cultivate a vibrant community of ambitious, intellectually curious young people who embrace opportunity and grow into confident, capable adults ready to shape the future. Since our founding in 2012—and with the sixth form launching in 2019—we’ve remained committed to our core values, rooted in the school’s motto, Optimum Omnibus – “The Best for All.” Our post-16 provision builds on the strengths of the whole school, offering a rich, challenging academic experience that inspires every student to aim high and think beyond the classroom.Sixth form is a uniquely exciting stage in a young person’s journey. It marks a transition to greater independence, responsibility, and possibility. At Cobham 6th, we strike the balance between freedom and support, encouraging our students to explore their potential, take ownership of their path, and flourish—both personally and academically. Above all, we are proud to offer a welcoming and joyful environment where every individual is seen, heard, and valued.I’m truly excited to welcome our next Year 12 cohort in 2026 and to see what they will achieve. Our sixth form offers a dynamic environment with a strong emphasis on personal development and academic excellence. With top university destinations including Medicine and the Russell Group, we ensure every learner is challenged, inspired, and prepared for success—academically and personally—within a supportive, ambitious, and forward-thinking community.Cobham Free School Sixth Form is based at the Main School, Portsmouth Road in Cobham, KT11 1TF.
