Enrichment Activities

Show all activities
Our exciting Enrichment Programme is designed to complement academic study by promoting mental wellbeing, physical health, leadership and personal growth. It is through these opportunities that students form lifelong friendships, build confidence, and develop the skills that will stay with them well beyond Sixth Form.

Trips and Travel
Our Trips and Travel Programme offers a wide range of opportunities for students to explore the world academically, culturally and personally. Students participate in life-changing international trips to destinations such as Peru, Tanzania, Cambodia and Ireland. These experiences broaden global understanding and help students build independence, confidence and resilience. We also organise a variety of national excursions and subject-specific residentials across the UK, from historical and scientific fieldwork to arts and culture experiences. Our location in London gives students access to the capital’s exceptional cultural offerings. Regular visits to galleries, museums, theatres and concert venues enhance both academic learning and personal development.
Leadership and Entrepreneurial Skills
At Alperton Sixth Form, leadership means stepping up, taking responsibility, and preparing for the future. Through official roles, community projects, and event planning, our students gain lifelong skills to empower their success. Our leaders organise vibrant events that celebrate culture, creativity, and community. One standout is the student-run ‘Disco Dandiya’, a lively cultural event that brought the whole school together and demonstrated exceptional student leadership.
Duke of Edinburgh
Take on challenges, build resilience, and gain a nationally recognised qualification through the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. It’s a powerful way to develop teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership skills outside the classroom.
Volunteering
Prefects and volunteers support the whole school by liaising with parents, staff, students, and visitors. They help create a welcoming environment while developing strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
