New Bridge School

I take extreme pleasure, on behalf of all our young people, the New Bridge staff family, Governors and stakeholders, to offer warm words of welcome and an introduction to New Bridge College.

At the College, our students are the driving force behind everything we do. New Bridge College is a vibrant post – 16 learning and training campus geared towards providing inspirational teaching and learning to students and young people with SEN, focusing on positive destinations, developing skills for adulthood, employment and further education or training.

At the college, all of our students are at the heart and centre of everything we do.

Our committed and dedicated staff members are continuously striving for excellence and this positive ethos has a genuine impact on the ambitions, aspirations and goals of our students.

We inspire each one of our students to aim high and be the best they can be. As a result, we are extremely proud to say that studying at New Bridge College gives our students the opportunity to transform their lives. Our strategic intent and priorities, vision, mission and values drive our motivation to educate, support and guide our students to achieve the very best.

To ascertain each student’s starting point, we provide a supportive transition into College, in a safe and inclusive environment, where welfare, emotional regulation and personal development are important priorities alongside the attainment of education.

We want all of our students to enjoy their time at College by studying pathways which challenge them, increase their depth of knowledge and skillset, strengthen their resilience and prepare them well for the future. At New Bridge College, this is done within a supportive, nurturing and friendly environment through creative and innovative approaches (which support personalised learning), an ambitious curriculum, striving philosophies and inspiring activities.
