I am an external student and when I came to England 5 years ago I’ve been and joined different school but NSG is the best school I’ve attended teachers actually help you to get the content and you have a lot of support. There’s a wide range of enrichment to attend which I think it’s really beneficial especially if you to go uni.

I have attended NSG for over 5 years now and have had a truly incredible experience that every year has helped me improve and develop into the person I am today. During my time at NSG I have been consistently supported by the staff here who have helped me with achieving goals I thought may not be possible to reach. Over the last few years, I have recognized that I am very lucky to have these teachers as they have supported me not only with my exam preparation for my GCSEs which I completed this year, but they also take a deep care into students well-being and emphasize the importance of this especially during the season of exams. Therefore, I feel confident learning at NSG as I know no matter what challenges I am facing, there are kind, approachable teachers who I trust that I can speak to. As I continue my journey at NSG and complete my A-level exams I will always feel grateful for all the teachers at NSG who have helped me thrive and become the best version of myself to highly achieve academically while feeling safe and heard as I continue to have a brilliant experience at this school.

I’ve been at NSG since year 7 and I am so glad that I decided to stay on for Sixform to finish my school journey. Firstly the consistent support from staff has allowed me to progress and overcome challenges specifically during year 13 when exams can feel overwhelming. The supportive range of teachers offer advice so you are never alone with anything you are going through. Similarly, the range of opportunities, have always set NSG apart from any other school for me, both within the classroom and beyond. From being given the opportunity to join the Student Leadership team and creating positive change within the school community to participating in Sports Leaders and helping younger students in sporting events. These experiences have all given me the potential to grow in resilience, leadership qualities and allowed me to become a much more confident member of the school community. I know going forward I will be able to use the skills i’ve learnt throughout my time at NSG to help me through my future experiences and career choices.

I have been a student at NSG for 6 years, and can not think of another community I would rather be apart of. I have met fantastic people and strengthened life-long friendships due to the excellent opportunties NSG offers, while simultaneously receiving all the support I could ever ask for from my teachers. They not only value grades -although they are always ready to praise when you show improvements- but also undertstand school can be stressful- attesting to the graet wellbeing support we have here. Since starting Sixth form is September, I have had the opportunity to be apart of many things such as Young Enterprise and Science Technicians- allowing me to have fun while I learn while also installing vital skills for post 18. NSG has been spectatular so far, and I will be cherishing the rest of Year 12 here.

What made my experience better during sixth form was knowing that I had created a great support group around me and was able to express my concerns, knowing that they were heard and acted upon instead of being pushed to the side. On days i had struggled most with school, I was always reminded that there are people around me that were there for me and pushed me to always do better. I owe a lot of gratitude to my head of year at the time Mr Wynn and Bev who always had my back and helped me continue to push through and get over the little rut i went through.

The school has lots of exciting opportunities for you to take part in. The teachers make the lessons so fun and engaging and help you to be able to do your best to succeed. My head of year, Mrs Bignell, is extremely supportive, welcoming and helpful. There so much support from all of the staff here.

The school has many good facilities for sixthformers. Mrs Bignell the Head of Year 12 is a kind and very approachable. She is a great teacher and makes psychology lessons really interesting. She has done a great job at making internals and eternals feel comfortable and welcome. She will ensure you have the best sixth form experience.

This sixth form provides support for its students and ensure that they all feel supported throughout their sixth form experience. Mrs Bignell being the Head of Year 12 has made the start of sixth form for internals and externals an incredible journey so far.

I really love NSG sixth form, I feel like i really fit in. The teachers here offer so much support and really have our best interest at heart. We are provided with a plethora of resources and the student support is really great. Mrs Bignell, the year 12 head of year, is lovely and so welcoming. Shes an amazing head of year and you can tell she really cares for her students.

As someone that has been at NSG since year 7, it was a no brainer to stay for sixth form, and it has really exceeded my expectations. All of the teachers are so friendly and work hard to ensure that you understand what you are being taught, especially Mrs Bignell who is an absolutely incredible psychology teacher, an even better head of year and someone that you can always go to for support. NSG sixth form is a fully supportive and just lovely environment that I don't even hate getting out of bed really early anymore.
