Welcome to St Anselm's Catholic School, Canterbury

WELCOME TO ST ANSELM’SWe are delighted to welcome you to St Anselm’s Catholic School Sixth Form. We are very pleased that you are considering our school for your Sixth Form studies. As Sixth Form students, you will be very important to the life of the school. You will be role models for younger students; you will have opportunities to contribute to the school and the wider community and, when you leave school, you will represent us in many parts of the world. Some of you, in the future, may well send your children to our school. My colleagues and I want you to benefit from the whole life of the school; spiritually, academically and socially. It is a chance for you to grow into adulthood, prepare yourselves for your future and to enjoy your last two years of education in a positive learning environment. You will be fully supported in your academic work and you will be given opportunities to extend your knowledge in other areas that you may not have considered before, such as leadership skills and mentoring other students. You will also have considerable opportunities to get involved in the many enrichment schemes that we offer. Please take the time to read this prospectus and course guide and to visit the Sixth Form pages on the school website. There are lots of people who can help you with your decision-making in school, and it is important that you seek the advice of your teachers and of our current Sixth Form students. Mr J Rowarth, Headteacher
