Welcome to our joint Sixth Form – one that is built upon a strong legacy of success and partnership between two distinctive and ambitious schools in North Dorset.

We are proud to lead sixth forms that are embedded in our communities while retaining two unique characters. They are spaces where every student is known and is able to achieve their potential through our breadth of subjects, high quality support, and enrichment based on our students interests. You will take your own journey through either Shaftesbury or Sturminster Sixth Forms while gaining from the wealth of experiences provided by both sites. The principle is one Sixth Form with two distinct characters ensuring that whether you’re looking to improve on your GCSE outcomes, join the world of work post further education, go to Oxbridge or study medicine we will help you find where you want to go surrounded by people who will get you there. Combining this with comprehensive support available for university applications, apprenticeships, and career planning every student leaves our sixth forms more than ready for their next steps
