Welcome to St Michael's Church of England High School
Welcome I am delighted to introduce myself as the Headteacher of our inclusive, aspirational and welcoming school community. We are the only Church of England secondary school in Sefton and welcome every student as the unique individual that they are. We are proud to be a part of the All Saints Multi Academy Trust. At St Michael’s, we believe that whilst our challenging and engaging curriculum is of the highest importance, we have a duty to shape our students so that they can thrive and make a positive contribution to their community and beyond. Our vision is built on the foundation of Luke 2:52, “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature,” students and staff grow spiritually, personally and academically as Christ did. By embodying our Christian values of love, peace, forgiveness, courage and equality, we flourish in a caring Christian community enabling achievement for all. Our Christian faith is at the heart of everything we do. Just as Christ did, we inspire all in our school community to grow in all aspects of their lives. Our vision and values are not something that are just put on a poster, they are lived out every day. Our staff are role models in our community and set high standards and expectations for all. They instil a love of learning, self-belief and resilience which enables all to flourish. Kindness and mutual respect is expected from all and this makes our community the wonderful place that it is. We celebrate our diversity and the uniqueness that every member of our community brings to St Michael’s. I am proud of our inclusive, caring environment where every student feels that they are valued, supported and belong to somewhere special. The St Michael’s way is how we do things here, and students are clear on routines and expectations that will help them to thrive and grow. St Michael’s is on an exciting journey, and we look forward to welcoming you and your child into our very special community
