At Sixth Form I studied IT, Business and Media Studies as well completing an EPQ. I knew these were subjects I could start an alternative career with it the Royal Navy dindn't work out as the Navy doesn't dictate what A-levels you take. Whilst really enjoyed studying these subjects I knew the Navy was where I wanted to go. I studied for eight months at the Britannia Royale Naval College in Dartmouth before passing out as a Warfare Officer. Since then I have had plenty of additional training and I'm currently working towards a foundating degree in Maritime Studies with the potential to work towards a full degree later in my career. I've been fortunate enough to spend seven weeks on HMS Tamar in the South Pacific where I visited six different countries and worked alongside four allied navies in the region. Working in a job where I get to represent in the UK around the world is very rewarding.

During my time at TGS, I studied product design, computing, and Italian. As a child, I had a wide range of aspirations, including being a pilot, a doctor, a drummer, and a footballer. However, my enduring passion has always been designing and creating things. I pursued a degree in Construction Project Management BSc (Hon)at Oxford Brookes University, which included a year-long placement providing valuable industry experience. Upon completing my degree, I was offered a job as an Assistant Site Manger by the company where I had completed my placement. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work on various projects, including building a primary school and boarding house for the deaf in newbury, a doctor's surgery in a new housing estate in Swindon, and refurbishing two operating theatres for the NHS at Gloucester Royal Hospital. Currently, I am involved in the transformation of a Grade 2 listed building in Trowbridge into a musical hall.

It has always been my dream to build a career in the world of fashion - since leaving sixth form, I have gone on to have supporting roles at London, Paris and Milan fashion week(s). I have interned for Polo Ralph Lauren and I am currently in the final year of my degree in Fashion Styling & Production at UAI's London College of Fashion - the world's number 1 university for arts and design. My sixth form study of Photography and Textile Design were instrumental in developing my character and skills which have enabled me to build a profile in fashion design from an early stage in my career. Being such a competitive landscape, experience is crucial and having the backing of the creative departments such as those at TGS Sixth Form have certainly given me an advantage in making the strides I have thus far. I also studied Geography and conducted an EPQ providing an insight into academic writing which was is a useful skillset for higher study.
